A Spiny Fish is a small fish enemy found in the game Yoshi's Story.
They bear a small ressemblance to Cheep-Cheep, although they lack bird-like feature and have a purple like coloration and huge, green eye's. They have a lot of spikes, so, if a Yoshi eat them, he will lose some petals. They are exclusively found in underwater levels. They behave much like Cheep-Cheep, althought they are quicker and will try to follow Yoshi.
They live in the Yoshi Sea and only appear in Level 5-1: Lot ' o ' jellyfish and 5-2: Lot's ' o ' Fish.
