The sandbox (MarioWiki:Sandbox) is a wiki namespace page designed for testing and experimenting with wiki syntax. Feel free to try your skills at formatting here: Click on edit, make your changes, then click "Save changes" when you are finished. Content added here will not stay permanently. Feel free to remove any content when you think this page gets too crammed. This is not a page to chat.

Please do not fill the sandbox with memes. A little joking is fine, but if the sandbox is oversaturated with memes or jokes unrelated to testing, the jokes and memes in the sandbox will be removed. If you need further help editing, visit our help page.

Your edits

Dear Sandbox, it has come to our attention that you have currently made more than 20 edits. We reccomend you to create an account, not only to get known by other users, but you can also track all of your edits and you won't get confused with others. To create an account simply go to the sign-up page and follow the on-screen instructions. If you already have an account you can simply go to the login page and enter the username and password you have registered for your account. You will have many privileges like these below! Personal user name You will have your own personal userpage to write a bit about yourself and you will also have your own user talk page that you can use to communicate with other users. Whenever someone leaves a message or edits your talk page, you will receive a notification at the top of every page of the site, and others can send you private messages to your e-mail if you provide one during the registration. This feature is anonymous because the user who sends you a message will not know your e-mail address until you answer. Also, you can change your user name if you don't like anymore your current user name, but keep in mind that you can change your user name only twice each year. More functions There are many features of the MediaWiki software that powers the Super Mario Wiki, that are only available to registered users. Along editing, you will be able upload images and move pages, a feature that is very important to maintain structure and consistency on the site! Also, you will be able to use the watchlist that allows you to track changes limited to specific pages you chose to follow. To folllow one, click the "watch" button you will get on every page you visit to track the changes of that page, and to stop following click the "unwatch" button. User settings In the Preferences page that you will find on your personal toolbar on the top of every page you visit, you will be able to change your language displayed (this does not affect the content of the pages), change your favourite date format so articles will display dates according to your preference, choose how you want mathematical formulas to be displayed, whether links should be underlined, how large the editing box should be, how many pages should be displayed in the recent changes page, and much more.
