Mario receives an HP MAX! Flower after defeating a Goomba.
HP MAX! Flowers are special flowers that automatically recover a character's entire HP. They are randomly found after defeating an enemy. HP MAX! Flowers are instantly used as soon as they are discovered in battle, meaning that they can not be saved for later. Mario discovered these flowers during the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
