Dreamy Bowser
- “Peach...This island...This world...All of it...MINE! And you guys are....COOKED!”
- —Dreamy Bowser, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Template:Dtenemy Dreamy Bowser is an enhanced form of Bowser and is the final boss of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. He is created when Bowser inhaled the shattered remains of the Dream Stone. While in this form, Bowser is much larger, glows with bright colors reminiscent of those of the late Dream Stone, and has objects resembling the Dream Stone on his head and stomach.
History
After Starlow and Peach destroy the Dream Stone, Bowser inhales the broken pieces of it and transforms into Dreamy Bowser. He engages Mario and Luigi in combat, and is defeated by them. He then transforms back into Bowser and is knocked out of his own castle with the brothers' hammers.[1]
Battle
Dreamy Bowser's attacks consist of using the Dream Stone's amazing power. One attack of this form of Bowser involves shooting giant, rainbow-coloured fireballs, which the Bros. need to jump at the same time to avoid. He clones himself during this attack to shoot double the fireballs; each of the fireballs shot by the clones can only strike a single brother.
Dreamy Bowser can also create multi-coloured minions from portals to charge at the Bros; after summoning these enemies, Bowser will retreat to the background, where he will heal all his body parts 200 HP every turn by eating endless piles of meat until the minions are destroyed, if the Bros. manage to avoid getting struck by a sufficient number of his minions during an attack, Bowser will also slam his fists into the ground to create a shockwave that must be jumped over, and any attempt to attack Bowser while he is in the background will result in the Bro that initiated the attack being struck with lightning unless the 'attack' was a Taunt Ball.
A third attack begins with Bowser summoning a giant hammer, which he subsequently tries to hit the brothers with; Bowser will drop a coin with the Bros. initial on each side to reveal which brother will be attacked first and thus which brother will first need to pull out his own hammer to stop Bowser's hammer.
Bowser can also create an airship with rainbow-coloured Shy Guy DXs (called the Shy Guy Airtub DX) that will chase Luigi as the Bowser head of the Shy Guy Airtub DX fires flames at Luigi; while on said airship Mario must repeatedly attack the Shy Guy Airtub DX after getting through (presumably) the Shy Guy DXs with his hammer while Luigi jumps over the fireballs it generates. The Shy Guy Airtub DX will go into the background if it either hits Luigi or survives this attack and will shoot cannonballs every turn; the left cannon on the ship will shoot cannonballs at Mario, the right one at Luigi, and the middle one will simply not hit anyone. These cannonballs will damage the Shy Guy Airtub DX if successfully struck with a hammer.
Another dangerous attack Bowser may perform involves the Koopa grow giant, forcing the Bros. to flee; Bowser will soon start chasing them while spewing 3 massive streams of moving fire that must be jumped over and which deal massive damage if they are not jumped over successfully. If the Bros. dodge the fire, Bowser will jump and create a shockwave that also must be jumped over. Bowser will then repeat this performance, but his second jump will end in his landing on one of Neo Bowser Castle's many sharp spires, deflating him back to normal size.
Bowser's arms are very important in this battle in the sense that Bowser can only perform certain attacks and actions with his arms present. His right arm will periodically be used to grab a brother so the remaining bro cannot use Bros. Attacks as long as a brother is being held, and Bowser will throw the brother either that turn or within a few turns if the right arm is still intact, forcing the remaining brother to catch the thrown brother by rapidly pressing their jump button to dash: the thrown brother will take damage every time he bounces off the ground. Note that Bowser will drop the bro if he decides to turn giant or use an attack which requires both hands (I.E summoning minions).
His left arm is even more important, as it will prevent Bowser's body from taking any damage from aerial attacks while it is still active. The Bros. need to disable this arm if they want to attack Bowser with any aerial attacks, including even strong ones such as Star Rocket.
Unusually for background enemies, using Taunt Balls on Dreamy Bowser or his Shy Guy Airtub DX causes them to perform a specific action rather than just bringing them into the foreground. Throwing a Taunt Ball at the Shy Guy Airtub DX will cause it to repeat its opening attack at Bowser's orders and then return to the background, defeating the normal purpose of using a Taunt Ball: however, Mario can potentially destroy the Airship during its attack if he's fast enough.
Throwing a Taunt Ball at Bowser will cause him to jump into the foreground and, if enough of his minions are left, to chase the brothers through the minion crowd, the Bros. must jump over or on the minions to avoid getting stepped on by Bowser, but Bowser's feet will also OHKO minions upon contact. Much like the Shy Guy Airtub DX Bowser will return to the background after he either stomps on a brother or tramples most of his minions.

Trivia
- Dreamy Bowser is the fourth final boss in the Mario and Luigi series that is an altered form of Bowser. The other final bosses being Bowletta from Superstar Saga, Shrowser from Partners in Time, and Dark Bowser in Bowser's Inside Story.
- He is also the only one alongside Dark Bowser that doesn't have Bowser being possessed by another villain, and only the second (Shrowser being the first) to have Bowser's personality.
- Dreamy Bowser has the highest stats of any mandatory boss in the Mario & Luigi games, not counting Chakron. He also has the fifth highest health of any mandatory Mario & Luigi boss, beaten only by Princess Shroob, both of her sister's forms, and the preceding fight with Antasma, narrowly beating him out with 2435 HP compared to Dreamy Bowser's 2417.
- The way Dreamy Bowser's ams can be destroyed is similar to the final boss with Giant Bowser in Paper Mario: Sticker Star, where his arm can be destroyed as well. Interesting both Sticker Star and Dream Team have Bowser becoming the main villain and final boss, and being empowered by a wish-granting artifact.
