Talk:Antasma
Needing an image of Antasma outside the dream world...
'ello all. I have tried repeatedly to get an image on here from a Japanese trailer of Dream Team, but I have yet to have any luck with uploading it here. Does anyone with more image-embedding skills mind going to that site and getting the picture of Bowser being airlifted by Antasma outside of the Dreamworld? I think that image is rather important because (A), it shows Antasma is not confined to the Dreamworld, B) it is storyline important (this is probably the point where Antasma starts controlling Bowser), and (C) shows that Antasma has deceptively strong muscles...yes, C is a joke, but the other 2 points are perfectly valid! If this helps, here is the video:[1]. The scene where Bowser is airlifted and/or possessed by Antasma is at about 4:12. Thank you.
Gender??
GameXplain referred to Antasma as female. They should know this, since they played through the entire English demo. Since we only have its gender in Germany, and region/gender differences in the Mario series is not uncommon (see Birdo, Vivian, Petey Piranha), I changed it. I asked them how they knew it was a "she" and got this reply: "I don't." They were just assuming in the video. Maybe you can still find the comment (If you find mine (fawfulthegreat64) that's what Gamexplain replied to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy8vXzplw-0 -- 19:24, 5 June 2013 (EDT)
Oh, so it was just an assumption. And since all signs point to Antasma being a dude...I guess we should keep it. YoshiCookie (talk) 10:15, 10 December 2015 (EST)
It's a bit hard to work out what gender Antasma is from it's appearance, it probably is just an it, but as it has recently been given the title of King it then must have a gender. Unless ONM are guessing again... - Cubeguy(talk)
On the Mario and Luigi Dream team site it states Antasma is a male and like Cookie said he is said to be a king :D Luigifan100 (talk) 20:02, 19 June 2013 (EDT)
First ever King?
If Antasma is a king, doesn't that make him the first one in the M&L series? If so doesn't that count as trivia? Just asking. - Cubeguy(talk)
- Personally, I'd wait for further information before having it as a trivia point.
"King" Bowser Koopa, the "King" of the Koopas. I think Bowser was the first King in the M&L series. ~chaoxys
