Sobarribad

The Sobarribad is an enemy in Super Paper Mario. It is a subspecies of Barribad. Its name is a pun on the words "so very bad", and is derived from its method of protection, a barrier. It appears similar to, and may even be related to the Yux species from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. The Sobarribad projects an impenetrable barrier around itself when Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, or Luigi approaches, and shoots rings of energy at them. However, by flipping to 3D, the player can go around the barrier, switch to 2D, and defeat it.
