Logger Heads
Template:Minigame-infobox Logger Heads is a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party 9. The concept is similar to Log Jam from Mario Party 3. The name of the minigame is a pun on "loggerhead", an idiom that was formerly used to call someone an idiot. The concept of the game is similar to Slap Down, from Mario Party 3, since each person has to hit a log fast enough, and reacting too early could result in hitting a Bob-omb, or an incorrect flower. However, a competitor isn't out for hitting it at the wrong time, and each player must hit 3 logs to win.
Introduction
The players approach the stump and lift their axes in preparation.
Gameplay
Players try to be the first to split the log that Whittle puts on the trunk in half by quickly moving the Wii Remote. Occasionally, the Whittle may put a Bob-omb on the stump instead of a log, and players must press 
to duck. Failing to do so or chopping the Bob-omb results in players being stunned for the next round. The first player to get three points wins, and the game will immediately end; this means that the other players will be ranked, based on how many logs they've chopped. Filming in January 7th 2011.
In Perspective Mode, players view the minigame from behind their character.
Like 10 to Win, Snow Go, and Pizza Me, Mario, this minigame ends when one player reaches the goal.
