• The Wii U Virtual Console was launched on the Wii U eShop, including game titles, Super Mario World in North America on April 26, Japan and Europe on April 27, Donkey Kong Jr. (game) in North America on April 26, and Mario's Super Picross in Japan and Europe on April 27, 2013.
• The Nintendo 3DS application Photo Together with Super Mario, along with three special Mario-themed Nintendo e-Shop prepaid cards, were released in Japan on April 23, 2013.
• In the latest Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced a new Mario Party (pictured) for the Nintendo 3DS scheduled for release in winter 2013. A new Yoshi's Island title was also announced for the Nintendo 3DS.
• Mario & Luigi: Dream Team was confirmed to be released in Europe on July 12th, Japan on July 18th, and North America on August 11th, 2013, Game & Wario was confirmed to be released in North America on June 23, 2013, Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move was confirmed to be released in North America and Europe on May 9, 2013, and the downloadable content New Super Luigi U is scheduled for release in summer 2013.
