Spiders are large purple spiders encountered in the game Donkey Kong 64.
Spiders are only encountered in the area Fungi Forest at night. They are encountered by Tiny Kong in the lair of the Giant Spider inside a barn that Tiny gets to by using Mini Monkey. Regular spiders sometimes come down and try to attack Tiny. These Spiders are fairly strong as they can take a fair number of hits before being defeated. It is best to use the shockwave attack given to Tiny by the Banana Fairy Queen to defeat them. When the giant spider is defeated, it transforms into a Spider, which can be defeated in one hit.
