Gather Coins

Gather Coins is the name of a Mini Battle from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. It involves, as the name states, gathering coins.

Gameplay consists of jumping to get coins shot out of a cannon. The player must get more coins than their Bandit opponent to win. If Yoshi wins, he will get a random item. The coins can be licked up, making it easier for the player. The player can also stomp on the Bandit to stun him for a short while, and the Bandit can also stun the player by jumping on them.
