Hello. I am Son of Suns, and I recently became an administrator of the Super Mario Wiki. As such, if you have any questions or comments, I am one more person you can turn to for help.
Current Projects
- Attempting to create full length biographies for characters and enemies, instead of one sentence descriptions.
- Creating articles that are on the "most wanted" list.
- Providing categories to those articles that have none.
- Uploading images to make this wiki more visually exciting.
- Deleting poor articles.
- Copy editing.
- Generally trying to make this wiki a significant source of reference for Mario fans, just like Wookiepedia is for Star Wars fans.
Name Reference
My User Name is not a reference to anything in the Marioverse. In fact, my name comes from the Star Wars Universe. Son of Suns is a reference to Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One who would bring balance to the Force. The prophecy of the Chosen One is in the legendary historical text known as the Journal of the Whills. Here is the prophecy:
"... And in the time of greatest despair there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as: THE SON OF THE SUNS." Journal of the Whills, 3:127
Since Anakin Skywalker was born on a planet with two suns, it is fitting that he is named Son of the Suns.
The name has become my calling card, so I continue to use it whenever I get a new e-mail or some other type of internet account.
