I have a tip for diagonals: For this example, you are going Up-Left You use the "Up" walking sprites and make them go diagonal. also, I made some Pros/Cons to your 3 Ideas: Overworld Pro: Fun, Matches Style, alows more users to be in Con: Hard to make, takes forever Minigame Pro: Quick, Fun, and lots of oppurtunity.
