Waddlewing

Template:Newsubject Template:Species-infobox Waddlewings are enemies who make their debut in the upcoming Wii U game New Super Mario Bros. U. They are orange, real-life flying squirrel-like creatures with brown limbs, beady eyes, red nose and a mouth showing two teeth. They also have orange membranes attached to their hands and cream-colored hindhead and belly.

Waddlewings are introduced in New Super Mario Bros. U, where they are rather common enemies, mainly in Acorn Plains and sky levels. Sometimes, they are seen running, however, most of them glide from side to side. Some are also seen clinging to walls.

They behave like the Super Koopas from Super Mario World. Waddlewings can also carry Super Acorns and drop them if they are defeated.
