Monty's Revenge is a battle minigame in Mario Party 7. Its name is a pun on Montezuma's Revenge, a type of traveler's diarrhea.
In a subversion of both the children's game, Whack-a-Mole, and the usual motifs of the Mario series, the players pop their heads out of holes in the ground and have to avoid being whacked by hammer-wielding Monty Moles. Whoever stays out the longest wins. In the animation after the game, all the losers are chased by Monty with a hammer.
