Wait... wasn't Wario responsible for the events of SML? According to the manual of the game (transcribed here), Wario was behind it. It is too big a coincidence that Wario hired Tatanga and invaded the castle during Tatanga's invasion. Also according to Wikipedia, Wario was the revealed as the "mastermind" in the SML and SML2 articles. Confused
