Nail Call

Template:Minigame-infobox Nail Call is the boss game in the Strange folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. The name is a pun on the phrase "Mail call!", which is coincidentally used by the character Parakarry in Paper Mario.

Gameplay

There is a nail which falls into a board and is held down by a man. A hammer moves back and forth above the nail. The player must press the "A" button when the hammer is directly over the nail to hammer it down. If the player hits on the edge of the nail, the head will bend. If this happens again in the same direction, the game will be lost; however, if it happens on the opposite side, the nail will be fixed. Also, if the "A" button is pressed too far to the left or right, the hammer will strike the man's hand, losing the game. If the player waits too long, the man starts counting down from three. When he reaches zero, then the player loses. In Level 1, it takes six successful hits to hammer the nail down completely; in Level 2, it takes eight hits. In Level 3, it will take ten hits, and the nail head starts out bent.

In the Grid, a minimum of five levels must be beaten to clear this microgame.
