Bone Goomba

Template:Species-infobox Undead Goombas are enemies that appear in New Super Mario Bros. 2[1]. Appearing alongside other undead enemies like Undead Piranha Plants and Dry Bones in Towers, they somewhat resemble Goombeetles, wearing skulls on their heads. Other than their appearance, they seem to be identical to ordinary Goombas, slowly walking forward, able to be defeated with any attack. When defeated, the skulls on their heads are removed, revealing that they have a completely blue body similar to Gloombas, and the Goombas found in caves in Super Mario Bros.[2]

Some people belive that these Goombas are from the Underwhere. It is also unclear if they were born in the Underwhere, considering that their heads are skulls.
