Grant Kirkhope (born 10 July, 1962) is a British composer who has been in video game composition since 1995 and is known for his compositions for Rareware games. He is also somewhat infamous for the DK Rap, which has been remixed and referenced in many other games after its introduction.

- In addition to composing music for Donkey Kong 64, Kirkhope did Donkey Kong's voice. His voice clips were recycled in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country and the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series.
