Birdo (species)

Birdos first appeared as a species when they appeared in the opening movie of Mario Power Tennis. After that, they were considered a species, yet the pink specific Birdo is the only one of that colour. The others, next appearing as teammates in Super Mario Strikers, were varying in colouration - blue, yellow and orange as well.
