Deck Dry Bones

Deck Dry Bones is a boss minigame in Mario Party 9. It is the mini-boss battle against Dry Bones of Boo's Horror Castle.

Introduction

The players are standing on a rock platform, Dry Bones appears and then jumps into the air. Several cards then appear on screen.

Gameplay

Each card has a colour on the back of them. The player must memorize which card has which colour. Dry Bones chooses a colour to land on. Whatever colour Dry Bones lands on, the player must choose which card they think or know is the same that Dry Bones is on. If the player choose correctly, Dry Bones will get damaged and rewards he or she with 3 points. If the player chooses incorrectly, he or she will get damaged thus, losing points. Once Dry Bones loses a bit of HP, more colours will appear. Sometimes, cards shuffled after they flipped over. Once Dry Bones is defeated, he will crumble and leave behind Mini Stars.
