Block Star (Mario Party series)

Template:Minigame-infobox Block Star is a rare minigame in Mario Party 6 that also appears in Mario Party DS. Its name is a portmanteau of rock star and block.

Gameplay

Block Star's gameplay is identical to that of Tetris Attack. A stack of square panels rises from the bottom of the screen, and the player must line up three or more panels of the same color to clear them. The game ends if the stack reaches the top of the screen. This minigame is one of the three single player minigames in Mario Party 6 and is unique in this category in having a two-player mode. In the Mario Party DS version, a Mario Party Point is earned for every ten points earned in the game.
