The Topi trophy and description.

Topis are small round creatures with white fur coats. They normally inhabit arctic climates. Topis are common enemies of the Ice Climbers, but they also appear as a trophy and in the stage Icicle Mountain in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

A beta screenshot showed that the Topis were going to be miniature seals. This was later removed in the game, however, due to people thinking that striking these seals was animal cruelty.
