- Mario Kart 7 (pictured) for the Nintendo 3DS and Itadaki Street Wii for the Wii were released in Japan on December 1, 2011.
- Nintendo has announced it is beginning to developing Super Mario Galaxy 3, which started to be created since November 2011.
- Super Mario 3D Land was released for the Nintendo 3DS in Australia on November 24, Europe on November 18, North America on November 13, and Japan on November 3, 2011.
- Nintendo has announced that a new bundle which was released on November 24, 2011. The bundle includes a copy of Super Mario 3D Land, along with a Flame Red Nintendo 3DS.
- The Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games was released in Europe on November 18, Australia on November 17, and North America on November 15, 2011.
