If Pom Pom ground pounds into the fire, she will become stuck there until the level ends, so the only way to get out is to exit the level or wait until time runs out. It is also possible to get unlimited 1-ups by doing this.[1]

When Mario or Luigi jump into the air their shadow will go through to the ground regardless of any platforms underneath.[2]

When Boomerang Mario enter in a Toad House, he must throw a boomerang and quickly leave of the room. The Boomerang will disappear near the door.
