ARGH. How is everyone? I'm Mpeng. I am relatively new to the Mario series - I could hardly tell you what a Yoshi was until the end of 2008 (and they call me smart at home) - but I've been through this wiki quite a bit, so now I think I know what I'm doing here.

You'll probably see me log in every three months, make about 40 edits, and then disappear again.

I'm somewhere on Wikia, by the same username.

They will probably block me if I do this on normal pages for wasting bytes, but this userpage is coded mostly in HTML. I think it's easier to know that and occasionally refer here than to know wikitext in addition to HTML. Go to the top of this page and click "view source" if you don't believe me.

The only console I have as of now is the Wii, which is sort of limiting, but I'm getting better at this.

Video (Nintendo) Games

These aren't the only games I have (I have quite a few for the PC) but we're not dealing with those now.

Great Games

  • Super Mario Galaxy - Really creative. Event the controls were great. Yes, I am a nerd.
  • Mario Kart Wii -The aggravation of leading the race and then getting blown out of the water is what makes the game fun. There's also the hackers that you sometimes get, and the wonderful lag that sometimes makes people get hit by items that are five miles away and stuff like that.

OK Games

  • Super Mario Galaxy 2 -As creative like the first one, but these 120 Green Power Stars are ridiculous. Our walkthrough of this was a moderate disaster.
  • Super Paper Mario - Funny (Bowser was the best) but I never caught on to it. Brianne the Frank is failing horribly at his walkthrough of this.
  • New Super Mario Bros Wii - Sort of hard (actually, I'm just bad at it), but not as much of a plot to make it interesting. Can be completed in under an hour with the help of the cannons. I have done that. It's not that great. Our walkthrough of this was a complete and utter catastrophe.

Games I Can't Stand

Let's face it, the Wii's motion sensing abilities are marginally better than the GameCube's. If you disagree, you need to go play these games.

  • Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games - Hard to control. I got bored of it after about a half hour.
  • Wii Sport - If Nintendo expected any exercise to come out of this, they were badly, badly mistaken. I once hurt my arm playing baseball. That generally disables one from playing real baseball.
  • One of those limitless Backyard Baseball games - I'll not get into that now

  • Make this thing a little bit more comprehensive (especially the articles about Mario Kart courses)
  • Clean up all of the screwy verb tense (which there is a lot of)(see below)
  • Be useful

Funny typos

At least, I hope these are typos. It would be nice if nobody thinks it's accepted English to write in two verb tenses in every sentence in a paragraph. Something tells me that it's not BJAODN.

  • "Succeeding the curve is another circulatory room;" "Past the circulatory room" Shouldn't that be "circular?"
  • ". . . magically encased the green dinosaur and his friends in Yoshi Eggs. Many of these eggs are given to Bowser's own children . . ."; "As Mario and Luigi are taking a nap on the beach, Bowser's forces kidnapped the princess . . ." "During the celebrations that followed, the seven liberated Yoshi eggs hatch and become Yoshi Babies . . ." Someone wasn't paying attention when they wrote this thing . . .
  • "This course is very lowlands . . . " WHAT???
  • As they awaken in . . . No sense whatsoever.
  • "The Super Mario series has many music." Implying that the word "music" is plural on its own?

Other Garbage

  • Super Mario Bros. was released in Japan on September 13, 1985. I was born exactly a decade later.
  • I think Waluigi is an incredible waste of space.
  • I once drew up a phylogenetic tree (sort of like a family tree) for all of the enemies in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I'll put up a picture soon. (And if I can find it ...) A new one is in progress. Now I've been reduced to making one with Photoshop. This should take a while . . . Now it's just a big waste of my time. Oh well.
  • Toad looks happy while sitting on Bowser.
  • It's very interesting that Nintendo chose to call Dark Matter, the corrosive stuff in the Super Mario Galaxies, "Dark Matter," as seeing as dark matter wouldn't do anything to you if you land in it. Antimatter is the stuff that would cancel your molecules out of existence.
  • Playthroughs (also know as walkthroughs, let's, and LPs) plays are good. Look 'em up on YouTube if you're not sure what I mean. Maybe, with a little luck, you'd stumble across the ones that Brianne the Frank and I have made, but I won't necessarily help you find them. (That's probably counterproductive, as they really, really need views.)
  • One of these days, Nintendo will have to make Toad his own video game. Or else I will.
  • Has anyone figured out how old I am yet?

Yes, it will work on a wiki. This wiki, anyway. Feel free to discuss it with me.

The Numbered List

  1. Stuff
  2. Grgh
  3. More stuff

I have handed in homework assignments like this before.

The only thing I notice in this basic few lines of code is the <p> doesn't work. I'm actually surprised it works at all. I won't try javascript, because that might cause problems, and I don't feel like using CSS.

I've never taken that "Web Pages" class, but I probably know more about this stuff than most people that have. At least in my school. Sad.
