HAL Laboratory
Template:Company-infobox HAL Laboratory (HAL Labs for short), originally a small group of friends who shared the desire to create games, has now grown to a respectable size. Among the small group who created HAL Laboratory is Satoru Iwata, the current president of Nintendo. HAL Laboratory is now similar to Intelligent Systems, in that they are a branch of Nintendo and create video games only for Nintendo. Until the NES was released, HAL Laboratory released games for a computer called the MSX, which was rarely seen in the UK and USA.
HAL Laboratory is a game developer. Among their many creations are the Kirby series and Super Smash Bros. series. Additionally, the Halberd is named after HAL Laboratory.
