(or just AlphaDream) is a Japanese video game development studio who are responsible for developing games for Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS. AlphaDream has developed three Mario games for the Mario & Luigi series. The company's staff includes prominent developers from Square Co., such as Chihiro Fujioka.

History

The company was founded in 12 January, 2000 as a second-party developer for Nintendo. Their first game, Koto Battle: Tengai no Moribito (Japanese: コトバトル-天外の守人), was released only in Japan for Game Boy Color on March 9, 2001.
