POW Block

An item that appears in Mario Bros. (Arcade). When hit, it damages all enemies. It performs the same function in Super Mario Bros. 2, but it can only be used once.
In the Paper Mario games, the POW Block is an item that does 2 damage to all enemies. It penetrates defense and makes spiky enemies turn over. It does not affect flying enemies, however, unless they are on the ceiling.
