Template talk:User
Can the template be a little bit more like this:{} (Talk) CURRENTTIME, CURRENTMONTHNAME CURRENTDAY, CURRENTYEAR. It helps date user's contributions so that they don't have to check the page's history to know how long ago you made your comment. It'll look like this:Marioguy1 (Talk) 10:30, 15 November, 2024
- You mean to add a timestamp? All you need to do is type in ~~~~~ (five tildes) and you have the time, month, day, and year just like that. Super Mario Bros. (talk)
I don't think it's necessary, as Super Mario Bros. said, you can simply use the tildes, despite they cannot incorporate within a template like this... Just get the tildes as an option to organize your comments when were submitted. ¢oincoll€ctor
What! I don't see why you can't do that but can you at least do this:{} (Talk). Adding the # makes it not Bold up when you go on a talk page--Marioguy1 My talk page (haha, no link for you ) 01:45, 6 July 2009 (EDT)
- I'm pretty sure it'd only become bold when that template is used on your own talk page; the same thing happens when you put all link onto their own pages, like this: Template talk:User. When I edit my own talk page, I just use "Walkazo ~~~~~", and there's no problem. - Walkazo 02:53, 6 July 2009 (EDT)
Yes but if you try this:#Template talk:User, it will be blue, not black and then you can easily make a bluelink, e.g.Template talk:User, see, it works! Marioguy1 (talk)
Suggestion
It will allow anyone to use insertyournamehere so it would show like Template:Fakelink (Template:Fakelink)
