Lubba

Lubba[1] is a particularly large and sometimes wisecracking Luma who appears in Super Mario Galaxy 2. He is the head honcho of the Lumas in the game, and is the Captain of Starship Mario before handing the title over to Mario himself. His ship was destroyed by a few meteors launched by Bowser, which caused all the Lumas on the ship to disperse throughout the galaxy and become separated from one another. Lubba aids and accompanies Mario in his quest to defeat Bowser, making a deal with him that, in return for Mario recovering the Power Stars, he'll help Mario rescue Princess Peach. [2] As the captain of the mobile hub of the game and the leader of the Lumas, he more or less replaces Rosalina in this respect.
