Bowling for Pasta is a form of bowling played in the Mushroom Kingdom, mentioned in the Nintendo Comics System story "Love Flounders". It is themed around Mario's favored food, pasta; the bowling balls used in the game resemble large meatballs and are even edible, because Princess Peach ends up eating Mario's bowling ball in the story. Mario, along with Luigi and Toad, regularly participates in this game and hates having to miss out on playing it.
