The B Dasher Mk. 2, also known as Sprinter in North America, is a medium-sized Kart which appears in the game Mario Kart Wii. Only medium-sized characters can drive in this kart. Its appearance is based off of a Formula One car and judging by its name outside of North America is probably intended to be an improved version of the B Dasher. This kart can be unlocked by unlocking 24 expert staff ghosts in Time Trials.

The Sprinter is one of the fastest vehicles in the game. Its weight is also manageable. Its drift is about average, but its other stats are rather low. It shares the same stats with the Sneakster.

Trivia

  • The kart's North American name comes from the word "Sprint" which means to run at full speed (someone in a 100-meter footrace, for example, is sprinting).
  • The name "B Dasher" is most likely a reference to the controls of the side-scrolling NES and GameBoy games - the player presses and holds the B button to dash. The "Mk. 2" is a Reference to Mario's DS Kart.
  • The Sprinter is the only medium-sized vehicle capable of surpassing the speed of the Flame Flyer. It also has better handling, ironically enough.
