I noticed you've employed the recent collapsible function (:P) and it's needed to show every box to watch the content by clicking the "show" link. However, if I could give you a comment, I'd say I see that ridiculous (way simple to say, really) cuz I see you're abusing the collapsible function by hiding the content on every box. In my opinion, you're removing some aesthetic to the main page. Also, the announcement box should be taken off in your main page, because that you brought back "recently on the mariowiki" section, and such announcement is part of what's going on in the wiki... ¢oincoll€ctor I think the current main page's look is better for now... Well, I'm not sure if the featured template needs to be wide, because some featured articles have relatively short summaries, while the collapsible function can be set only for the recent changes section. Another thing, and maybe you didn't notice, sometimes, by adding the collapsible function on many boxes can cause a load page lag, due to the collapsible function works under javascript. ¢oincoll€ctor Adding many things and details for pages lies more time to show then. That's the possible reason why Steve doesn't want further changes for the main page by now. After all, it's the closest to the South Pole. Seriously, they've been getting absolutely pathetic temperatures such as 26˚C (or 78.8˚F in the n00b system) while we in Adelaide have remained the hottest city for weeks, with our hottest day a few days ago being 45.7˚C (which is 114.26 degrees n00b... er, Fahrenheit). And it's remained over 40 for heaps of days on end, and at night the temperature rarely drops far below 30˚C. I'm one of the only people at my school whose home does not have air-conditioning. Due to the conditions, my parents finally realized that they're kind of useful to prevent near-death, but... every single place that sells air-conditioners here has sold out. Gee, I wonder why!? For a moment I though you meant with playing the game, lol... as I've 100% completed it. Well, I'll have to do all the initial work first; this weekend will be my only chance. I'll screenshot every treasure in the game and copy the in-game descriptions, then put it all in a big, awesome table on the game article. Once I do that, you can edit it if it sucks, as it probably will since I'm the one doing it. Seriously, nowhere on teh entire interwebs have I found any images of the treasures, or even any of their descriptions... ?_?. Yep, I got Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for my birthday. One of the best games I've ever played, only slightly below Zelda:Twilight Princess which is ultimate awesomeness. And Survive the Heat is a terrible game, the gameplay sucks in particular. And there's no replay value; I have no will to play it ever again. Uh yeah, that was in November lol. It wasn't the japoota, it was the interwebs being upgraded from miserable dial-up to broadband. I have a request, and if you can't do it that's fine. I was hoping to create a "Wario Land: Shake It! Enemy Box," similar to the {{Smrpgenemy}} box. Problem is, I don't know all that complex wiki coding. So I was hoping you could help me make it. The box would be similar to the SMRPG one, although a lot shorter. The top would read "Wario Land: Shake It! Enemy," followed by the picture, then the name (again, like the SMRPG enemy box). Then only one more line would be needed - it would say "Threat" on the left side then have three outlines of red stars on the right side that could be filled in as needed. This profile is based on the official player's guide, which ranks the "threat level" of every enemy with stars. Let me know if you can pull this off. When I first joined the Wiki two years ago, I noticed that there just wasn't much coverage devoted to articles related to the cartoons. However, Sir Grodus was starting to do writeups at the time, so I figured that I'd help wherever I could. I know that there's still many gaps to fill, and it will take time to complete everything, but I'll keep doing my best when I get the chance. I'm glad to hear that people are enjoying my writeups. I'll be fine... I was born here and have lived here my whole life, so I guess I'm used to it, despite hating it so much. I hope the new Mario and Luigi RPG pwns Partners in Time and recaptures the awesomeness of the original Superstar Saga. That's like one of the best GBA game ever made... IMO. I have a very complicated mind, Stooben... so many of my actions have complicated causes. I don't even understand some of the things I do in life. Leaving the Wiki (well, mostly... as I said, just occasional checking stuff) is something that feels like it was bound to happen soon. And I've lost my sense of attachment to this place. Back last February when I joined, it was my first true online community that I'd ventured into. I loved it. Heaps of similarly-interested peoples with similar school status issues... Mario game dedication, etc. But now, I am a raver with the hardstyle flavour (that was a line from my favourite song) I don't feel the same here. I really don't like n00bs, unless they're very kind and make unusually good edits. But of course, n00bs have been here since I have, so how it that different? Make of that what you will, for I cannot comprehend it myself. And I was really sick of having edits reverted. Of course, that is part of the essential Wiki mechanism. So why do I take such personal hurt from this? Another thing related to my non-virtual life. I'm writing a lot here, as it may be my last "normal" message to you. In my time at the Wiki, I can honestly say I have never created any accounts other than the one you know me for, nor have I ever vandalized any article. Just thought I'd say. Looking back, the only significant edits I've done were uploading heaps of Brawl trophy images, adding huge amounts of info to the Brawl article, and writing stuff on the Earth Tremor page, lol. Apart from that, I was just a random gnome doing gnome work. Maybe there should be a new rank below Patroller - Gnome. Special abilities - none. Speaking of Patrollers, that had somewhat of an effect on me, seeing that rank come back. At first, I thought something like "Awesome... I might actually get promoted, since Sysop status is a long way off..." so I became slightly more active. I'll admit that I even took advantage of my friendship with you as a better chance to be promoted, due to your Awesomeness rank. (or Bureaucrat, whatever it's called) Quite typical of human nature, would you agree? But when I saw several others getting promoted, I had mixed emotions. At first, a sliver of envy. Because I checked their oldest Contribs and saw they were much newer to the Wiki than me. I wrote in one every day in 2008, and at the end of the year I read it through and it really was a fascinating read. My life could become a TV show. I often wrote about stuff on the Wiki, and your name was mentioned many times. Another thing I recommend for you: Hypnosis treatment to cure/help your insomnia. I'm immune to most forms of non-physical treatment, but this certainly fixed up my "night life". Oh yeah, and it's funny how we often say "real life" as though the internet is non-existent... really it's very, very closely tied to our non-virtual lives. Well, mate </aussiestereotype>...
