The Cheep Charger is an unlockable kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii. It is a small kart, with the shape of a Cheep-Cheep with wheels and fin-like wings behind the cab. The characters' emblem appear on the sides of the vehicle. Only small characters drive on this class of kart.

The Cheep Charger is unlocked when the player attains at least one Star Rank for all 50cc Retro Grand Prix Cups.

It doesn't have a very good speed and weight. It's a good thing its other stats are rather high.

Stats

  • Speed: Mid-low
  • Weight: Low
  • Acceleration: Very High
  • Handling: High
  • Drift: High
  • Off-Road: Mid-high
  • Mini-Turbo: High

The Cheep Charger shows the best acceleration of the karts. But it's the lightest kart in the game. So that gives vehicles like the Flame Flyer the advantage to knock it.

  • The Cheep Charger is the only unlockable kart to being revealed before the release of Mario Kart Wii. Toad and Baby Peach were seen driving it.
  • If the player watches the Cheep Charger flip, they will notice at the bottom that it (just like the Blue Falcon) is battery powered.
  • The coloring of [[Toadette}'s cheep charger might have been inspired by Sushie.
  • When Baby Mario drives the kart, it looks like a normal Cheep Cheep.
  • Koopa Troopa's Cheep Charger could very well be inspired by a Deep Cheep.
