Pauline's lost items

During the game Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong kidnapped Pauline and when he did, Pauline lost two of her items she had: her umbrella and purse. Mario set out to save Pauline from Donkey Kong, and recover her lost items found throughout the game. Pauline's Purse was found in Level 1 and her umbrella was found in Level 2. Both items rewarded Mario with 800 points when obtained. Recovering Pauline's items was an optional thing to do the game.

Pauline's umbrella, now called "Pauline's parasol" was an inventory item in the Nintendo Adventure Book, Doors to Doom.
