Lava Drops are small, floating, fireball-like enemies found in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and it's remake Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. He moves either up and down, or left and right. The player can barely destroy him, so he has to be avoided completely. They appear in various cave levels and in groups. He can be killed by passing through a Middle Ring, and also can be obilerated with a ? Cloud item.
Lava Drops surprisingly appear in Mario Party 8 and in this game they do not fly. Instead they look more like Podoboos and they appear in one level.
