The Fruit by the Foot decoder machine[1] was an activity on the official Fruit by the Foot website. When used, it would provide tips for select Nintendo 64 games, including certain entries in the Super Mario franchise.

Details

To use the decoder, the user would need to possess Fruit by the Foot wrappers produced in the time period that the promotion was active. These wrappers contained codes that the user could enter into the decoder machine to obtain tips for one of three Nintendo 64 games, these being Donkey Kong 64, Pokémon Stadium, and Mario Party 2.[1]
