Music track Shave the World

Shave the World is one of Wario's microgames in the WarioWatch mode in WarioWare: Twisted! and returns as one of Ashley & Red's microgames in WarioWare Gold. The name is a pun on the phrase "Save the world".

Gameplay

The objective of the game is to shave the Earth with the electronic razor by tilting the system.

The player starts off the game with eight seconds in the Spindex. A different amount of seconds are added to the timer if they beat either level; four for level one, five for level two, and six for level three.

WarioWare: Twisted!

The Earth's surface is divided into a number of sections that can be shaved one at a time. If the timer runs out, the Earth will restore its skin and fly away shortly before the microgame ends.

  • 1st level difficulty: There are 3 sections that need to be shaved. The phrase "Love and Peace" in green text is revealed once complete.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There are 4 sections that need to be shaved. The word "Beauty" in pink text is revealed once complete.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There are 5 sections that need to be shaved. The word "Happiness" in purple text is revealed once complete.

WarioWare Gold

The razor moves more smoothly. The Earth is also always divided into eight sections.

  • 1st level difficulty: The razor is wide, being able to shave four sections at a time. Completely shaving the Earth reveals a smiley face or a woman's face.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The razor is medium-sized, being able to shave three sections at a time. Completely shaving the Earth reveals a thick-browed, more elaborate face or a sniffing face.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The razor is narrow, being able to shave two sections at a time. Completely shaving the Earth reveals either a doodle face with a stubble or the Baby Face from Mario Paint.
