Jakkī is Mario and Luigi's pet dog, who appeared in the fourth chapter of the Super Mario Land 3 manga. He is a white dog that behaves anthropomorphically and walks on two legs, but does not speak.

Luigi wakes up early to be first at school to take be first with the new seat rearrangement and be near Peach. Mario is woken up by his noises and, trying to beat him, grabs his legs, causing him to trip and roll out of his pants and straight to the doghouse, destroying it, causing Jakkī to pull on his shirt until he fixes it. Luigi eventually reaches the school, taking Jakkī with him, and when Peach opens the gates, he is the only one to tend to her after almost getting run over by the other students. For that, Peach chooses Jakkī as his desk mate. This does not sit well with Bowser, who kicks Jakkī away.

Later, Mario, Luigi, Jakkī, and some Toads, decides to settle who between them and Bowser should be Peach's desk mate at baseball. Jakkī's only moment during the game is when he is the first to go as Team Mario's hitter. He almost scores a home run, but the ball lands in Sledge Brother's snotty nostril, and he tosses back the ball, hitting Jakkī straight in the head, outing him. The snot-filled ball will then remain attached on Jakkī's head for the rest of the duration of the story.
