Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the British Monarch since 1837. It is also the place where important events and ceremonies occur. The palace in London, England, attracts millions of visitors every year.

In the PC versions of Mario is Missing!, a Koopa Troopa stole the Guard's bearskin hat, forcing the palace to close. Until Luigi returns the hat, the curator reopens the palace.
