Wendy's Shifting Castle, or Frosted Glacier-Castle, is the castle of Frosted Glacier in New Super Mario Bros. U. Its name is likely a reference to the novel Howl's Moving Castle. This level contains swinging girders, Dry Bones, and Thwomps. The boss is Wendy O. Koopa. It can be unlocked by finishing Swaying Ghost House, and completing this level opens the path to The Mighty Cannonship.

Layout

Wendy O. Koopa's boss battle

The level begins with some swinging girders that must be jumped across, with Dry Bones located on platforms in between them. Some Thwomps, a Big Thwomp, and a Thwimp are found in the next section, which leads to the Checkpoint Flag. Following the Checkpoint Flag, two girder platforms are found with a Thwomp in the middle. A Thwimp is found with a ? Block containing a power-up, and is followed by more girder platforms and Dry Bones. More Thwimps are found, with a hidden area filled with coins in a section of the ground. More girders follow, as well as Thwimps. A section with multiple Big Thwomps is found, with the boss door located at the end of the area.

The boss door leads to a red cannon. After being launched out of the red cannon into Wendy's airship, the player proceeds to fight Wendy O. Koopa. She uses her energy rings to knock icicles from the ceiling onto the player and, at the same time, skates across the area to avoid the player. After three hits, she is defeated and the path to The Mighty Cannonship is unlocked.
