MPA proposal

Just letting you know, option 2 (your second choice) is now marginally ahead of option 1 (your first choice), so if you'd prefer option 1 to win, you may want to remove the secondary vote. Super Mario RPG bestiary changes

I saw that you made changes to the enemy statboxes for the remake to be consistent with the original game's statboxes which I do agree with and is good work. However, there is one issue that came out of this, enemies which have a different name in the monster list have the article title by default. Examples of this include on the Cake (boss) and Smithy articles where there are no identifiers or monster list names in the statboxes. I've tried to find a solution myself but I'm can't figure it out without risking breaking a lot so I thought to bring it to your attention instead. Whoops, I hadn't noticed. Thanks for pointing it out! I've got it fixed now, if I've done it right. It appears the issue was that my template {{SMRPG NS enemy}} (which I based on {{SMRPG enemy}}) used the code altname for things like this, whereas the previously used template {{SMRPG Monster List}} actually uses switchname instead. Thanks. Any chance you'd also like to translate the unlocking requirements? I'd kinda like to rearrange that character section to be by default->unlockable->DLC (and preferably that part by version update) rather than by alleged weight classes. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:08, July 7, 2024 (EDT)
The Japanese website only seems to disclose unlock requirements for the alternate costumes: Tanooki Mario is unlocked by winning the Don-chan Cup at 50cc in Grand Prix mode, the other costumes are unlocked via QR codes. I do not know how one would unlock Bowser Jr, Wario or Waluigi. If you have another source with unlock methods, that'd be nice.
I also don't think AGPDX is using a weight class system, but rather a similar system to Arcade GP 2: according to the translator, this post states that Daisy is the first female "Balance" type character to join the roster (not "Cruiser"), while this one states Rosalina is a "High-speed" type character (not "Heavy"), and this one states Lakitu is a "Handling" type character (not "Light"), and this one states King Boo is a "Super handling" type (not "Feather").
