Edit warring

Please stop removing the information on Stick & Move as this information is correct and appears in-game (I even had to watch a video on YouTube to make sure it was accurate). If you keep undoing these edits, you will get warned and possibly even get blocked temporarily. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 19:57, 30 October 2018 (EDT)

I had watched a video, and my edits were correct
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Boomaster74 (talk).

Oh, yeah? Well, in the video I watched. Level 3 has three enemies; each of them at different gaps; except for the first one. Just as the edit described. Therefore, by definition, your edits are not correct. We as a wiki strive for accurate information and adding inaccurate information is just wrong. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 20:06, 30 October 2018 (EDT)

So I actually have the game. The samurai on the first speed is at the final gap, the samurai on the second speed are in the second and final gaps, and the samurai on the third speed are in the second, third, and final gaps. Did each speed five times, the positions seem to be set. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:10, 30 October 2018 (EDT)

If I may be curious, would you be so kind as to provide a link to the video you were watching? So far, all evidence points to the samurais being in fixed locations.
Also, please remember to sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~) so that we know from the start that you made them. Thanks! Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 20:27, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
Said video I was watching to get my information was this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wz-YFSuQAYw. Again, the positions stay the exact same in-game. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 20:49, 30 October 2018 (EDT)

Oh, I thought the second gap was the first one

Talk page commments

Please do not continue to remove the content of your talk page. Doing so is a violation of policy, and could result in a reminder or a warning. --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.TheFlameChomp (talk) 07:19, 31 October 2018 (EDT)

Italics

Hello. When naming game titles, please remember to italicise them, so for WarioWare Gold, it must be formatted as WarioWare Gold (WarioWare Gold). Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 08:29, 24 November 2018 (EST)

Please recall what I said here regarding formatting game titles. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:07, May 18, 2019 (EDT)

Please stop forgetting italics for titles on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Warning.svg This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (forgetting italics for titles) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

You're still not formatting titles after being notified three times. It's a simple and important writing guideline so please do not just ignore this. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 21:49, June 20, 2019 (EDT)

Template:Lastwarn I’m sorry, but despite being recently reminded about italics multiple times, you have continued to incorrectly format game titles. Continuing to forget to use italics will result in a temporary block from editing. --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.TheFlameChomp (talk) 13:46, June 29, 2019 (EDT)

Name changes

Hint

For plural forms that simply add an "s" to the word, rather than typing Bullet Bills, you can simply type Bullet Bills to save time.

A few other things regarding your Yoshi's Crafted World:

  • Try to preview your edits before saving next time by clicking the "Show preview" button. You also left a few table errors that went unchecked and fixed later by other users; if you're having a problem with the coding, remove the edit, or let someone know in the "Summary:" box.
  • "Tall stacks of shy guys, when Yoshi defeats one of the shy guys, the others fall until no more remain." is a run-on sentence, which should be two sentences separated by a period and not a comma, since the part starting with "when" starts a new topic: "Tall stacks of Shy Guys. When Yoshi defeats one of the Shy Guys, the others fall until no more remain."
    • "shy guy" is also a proper noun, which should be capitalised ("Shy Guy").
  • Note that the list is in alphabetical order. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 09:39, March 30, 2019 (EDT)

You're still having a bit of difficulty with run-on sentences (comma splices, to be specific) as I've noticed in a number of your past edits. Try to avoid combining phrases with commas if the next phrase doesn't depend on the previous phrase. In cases like this, this is a separate thought, so it should be a new sentence. Basically, if it can stand alone ("The time limit is also removed."), a period is used. For this, a period or even a semicolon is used here. I'd suggest reading through the Wikipedia pages I linked, but when in doubt, unless the information has to connect with the previous phrase to make sense, use a period. Stubs

One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article (Ninjarama). Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article:
  • Before saving a new page, be sure that you have put as much effort and information in the article as you can.
  • Make sure that the page follows all of the rules that are outlined in the Manual of Style.
  • Perhaps upload a few images that can be used on the article.
Please don't take this notice as a dejection; this is just an informative notice and we encourage you to keep contributing.

When creating new articles, there needs to be as much information as possible. Don't simply create articles for the sake of filling red links; if you help gathering information for articles, please let someone know and they'll be happy to help you. Thanks! A little question

Hey! I've seen in the Yoshi's Crafted World article, that you changed every instance of "Big Guy" into Fat Guy, the Direct called them "Big Guys", but the scrapbook doesn't seem to have them. Do you have any source where it is called "Fat Guy" in that game? --A Boo hiding and revealing itself. FanOfYoshi Splunkin model from New Super Mario Bros. 02:17, May 23, 2019 (EDT)

They are called Fat Guys in general, the person who did the direct probably refers to them as Big Guys instead of Fat Guys --User:Boomaster74/sig 4:25, May 23, 2019 (EDT)

Japanese

You got some Japanese characters confused.

  • ト is "to", but ド is "do". The later is used in Yadorā's name.
  • カ is "ka", but ガ is "ga". The latter is used in Gaugau's name.
  • ホ is "ho", but ボ is "bo". The latter is used in Bōtsu's name.

See MarioWiki:Japanese for more information. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 13:52, June 20, 2019 (EDT)

Navigation template / categories

Just reminded two other users about this: please remember to add a navigation template and category when creating a new article next time (see the relevant sections in MarioWiki:Manual of Style for more details). So for areas in Luigi's Mansion 3, you add this at the bottom:

LM3

Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 19:20, November 10, 2019 (EST)

You missed these again for Guard (boss). Please remember these for future articles. Remember you can look at similar articles (in this case, another VBWL boss page) to see what nav templates / categories are required if you're not sure.

Try to be careful of run-on sentences too as I've covered above. These in particular should be two sentences each and separated by a period (instead of being separated by a comma):

  • Guards are mini-boss enemies from the Virtual Boy game Virtual Boy Wario Land. They are small robots armed with both projectile and melee weapons.
  • Attacks by shooting rockets. If Wario is ducking, it will change its height and fire.

Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:23, March 1, 2020 (EST)

Please remember navigation templates and categories for your articles next time as described above. I realise the message was over a year ago but this is the third time reminding you already. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 22:08, June 29, 2021 (EDT)

Sorry, I dunno better, nothing I can do, so confused. It would be better if I were to never make pages here again, so as not to get warned or banned from here again. Spooky! (talk) 19:13, June 30, 2021 (EDT)

I'm just trying to correct the parts where you're slipping up so you get better at them. These in particular are required for every new article, and you even remembered to add them in your last one, so there's no need for that attitude. If you're trying not to get banned, then the message on your userpage isn't going to help with that. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 21:13, June 30, 2021 (EDT)
