The Light Tripper is Princess Peach's unlockable signature kart in Mario Kart DS. It is a small, light yellow kart with a high hood and a low body. The emblem is located on the hood.
The Light Tripper has the highest drift stat in the game. It also has below-average speed, weight, and handling; high acceleration; and low items. Its weight is tied with the Light Dancer, and its handling is tied with the Brute.
The kart is unlocked for Peach when the player wins a gold trophy in all Nitro cups on 100cc. Daisy and Dry Bones can also use the kart once a gold trophy is won in all Nitro or Retro Grand Prix cups on 150cc, and it becomes available for everyone else when a gold trophy is obtained in every cup on 150cc Mirror Mode.
