Super Smash Bros. Brawl
An Assist Trophy.

The Assist Trophy is an item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is unique, as it will call forth a random character to assist the player who used the item, similiar to the Poké Ball item. This is unique in the fact that, the character released is from an actual Nintendo or 3rd Party series, but can't be playable. So, it introduces characters who couldn't make the cut as playable fighters. Almost all characters that come out of the Assist Trophy are invincible.

Andross in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Andross File:Star Fox Emblem.gif| Andross, the main villain from the Star Fox series (his appearance based off his original depiction) appears from the Assist Trophy, and, floating in the background of a stage, will inhale and spit forth a flurry of harmful polygons that damage characters. This is based on his main attack in the original Star Fox.|-|

| align=center | Devil File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif
(Demon in Europe)| The devil is from Devil World, a game unreleased in America. When released from the Assist Trophy, he moves the stage outside the screen. The players will only be able to move within the visible screen and will lose a life if they go off the screen at any point.|-|

| align=center | Dr. Wright File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| Dr. Wright from Sim City appears and attacks opponents by building large skyscrapers beneath them, sending them flying upwards. The attack is executed right in front of Dr. Wright and the vertical range is very high, so fighters should run away immediately after he is released.|-|

Excitebikes in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

| align=center | Excitebike File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| A group of Excitebikers, appearing in their original 8-Bit form, drive across the stage, dragging players along with them, eventually driving off screen with the players caught.|-|

Hammer Bro in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Hammer Bro. File:Mario Bros. Emblem.gif| A Hammer Bro. appears on the stage and throws a hammer at opponents. It can jump up and throw them in midair and it can also throw hammers while on the ground.|-|

Helirin in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Helirin File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| The Helirin from Kuru Kuru Kururin appears as a stage obstacle, rather than an actual assist player. It acts as an additional platform, rotating on its axis and moving, sometimes getting in the way when trying to recover.|-|

Lakitu

| align=center | Lakitu File:Mario Bros. Emblem.gif| Lakitu, appearing in his 8-Bit Super Mario Bros. form, tosses Spinies, who are also in 8-Bit form, onto the ground, which damage players on contact.|-|

Little Mac in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Little Mac File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| Coming from the game Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, when Little Mac appears, he will continue to punch the opposing player closest to him. He then finishes with a powerful uppercut move.|-|

| align=center | Lyn File:Fire Emblem Emblem.gif| Lyn enters from Fire Emblem (GBA), the very first Fire Emblem released worldwide. When released, she charges her sword, then disappears, and reappears near an opposing player, slashing them at alarming speeds. Could be considered as a faster version of Samurai Goroh and Waluigi.|-|

Metroid in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Metroid File:Metroid Emblem.gif| A Metroid from the series of the same name will latch onto the nearest opponent, and suck their health away, similar to what they do in the Metroid games.|-|

Pikachu and Kirby are tired by Mr. Resetti's lecture.

| align=center | Mr. Resetti File:Animal Crossing Emblem.gif| Mr. Resetti is a character from the Animal Crossing series. When he is released, he simply stands in one spot, and lectures the players through a speech bubble. Attacking him as he does this will occasionally make him mad and cause an explosion.|-|

| align=center | Nintendogs File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| A Nintendog from the game Nintendogs briefly appears on the battleground before blocking the players' views by covering the whole screen causing great distraction.|-|

Saki Amamiya in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Saki Amamiya File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| Saki Amamiya from Sin and Punishment: Successor to the Earth, will appear, and use his Cannon Sword to shoot and slash his opponents. He can jump and shoot as well, and acts as very hard to avoid.|-|

| align=center | Samurai Goroh File:F-Zero Emblem.gif| Samurai Goroh from the F-Zero series appears and slashes away at the fighters with his katana. This is only limited to a horizontal direction, so fighters should jump on a high platform to avoid him.|-|

Starfy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Stafy File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| Stafy, from the Japan-only Densetsu no Stafy series, appears as a vulnerable Assist Trophy.  Stafy will perform his spin attack on an opponent if he has the chance.  However, fighters can easily attack him and send him flying.|-|

| align=center | Tingle File:Legend of Zelda Emblem.gif| Tingle simply calls up random effects, such as a barrage of flowers that appear on the stage. These can be helpful (like a rain of hammers) or a hinderance (like a tight close-up of one of the players).|-|

Waluigi in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Waluigi File:Mario Bros. Emblem.gif| Waluigi chases after a selected foe, kicks him/her into the ground and finally, he does one final power kick, or hits the player with his racket.|}=== Unlockable Assist Characters ===Template:Spoiler{| class=sortable align=center width=100% cellspacing=0 border=1 cellpadding=3 style="border-collapse:collapse; font-family:Arial;"|-! width="12%" |! width="15%" | Name! width="73%" | Description|-|

Custom Robo

| align=center | Custom Robo File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| Custom Robo, better known as Ray Mk III, comes from the game Custom Robo Arena. Being a toy, it is a very small Assist Character, but it makes the most of its speed by flying around the stage at fast speeds. It fires bullets from its left gun, and drops bombs from its right hand, as a means of attack. To unlock it, the player must play 100 matches in Vs. Mode or any related mode.|-|

Isaac

| align=center | Isaac File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| Isaac from Golden Sun uses "Psynergy Move", creating a large hand that pushes enemies away, or off the stage entirely. To unlock him, the player must play 200 matches in Vs. Mode or any related mode.|-|

Infantry and Tanks

| align=center | Infantry and Tanks File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| A group of 2D sprites from the Advance Wars series will appear in the scenery to attack the rival. To unlock them, the player must play 300 matches in Vs. Mode or any related mode.|-|

Barbara in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

| align=center | Barbara File:Super Smash Bros. Emblem.gif| Barbara enters from the Japan-Only game, Daigassou! Band Brothers. When released, she plays her guitar, sending a powerful field of music around her, which damages opposing players caught in it. The final note does the most damage. To unlock her, the player must collect 25 hidden songs.|-|

| align=center | Gray Fox File:Metal Gear Emblem.gif| Gray Fox, from the Metal Gear series, slices his opponents with his sword, causing heavy damage. He also deflects projectiles. To unlock him, the player must unlock Snake.|-|

To unlock him, the player must unlock Sonic.|}Template:Endspoiler== Super Smash Bros. Melee Trophy Information =={| class=sortable align=center width=100% cellspacing=0 border=1 cellpadding=3 style="border-collapse:collapse; font-family:Arial;"|-! width="12%" |! width="15%" | Name! width="73%" | Description|-|

| align=center | Andross| Star Fox's archenemy. Whether it's a metallic manifestation of Andross or just a hologram is unknown, but from its outward appearance, it's safe to assume that it's not the fiend's true form. Andross occasionally sucks matter in and then violently exhales, sending out a cloud of metal tiles. Its eyes are its weak points.|-|

| align=center | Dr. Wright| The assistant to the mayor of Sim City, Dr. Wright was actually named after the creator of the game. As a player, you'd have to use your wisdom and experience to give timely advice to the mayor; if you did a good job, the city prospered. Dr. Wright is one of the leaders in the all-time, bizarre Nintendo-game-hairstyle contest.|-|

| align=center | Excitebike| This top-of-the-line motocross motorcycle can accelerate like crazy with its turbo, but this also causes the temperature gauge to rise rapidly; if used too often, the bike will overheat. You can cool your hot bike down by running over special icons scattered across the track. The turbo and ramps let you pull insane airs.|-|

| align=center | Helirin| Kururin sets off in his specialized helicopter to rescue his siblings who have lost their way somewhere among ten worlds. The helicopter is fitted with an enormous blade, which propels the machine forward by slowly rotating. The mazes that Kururin must navigate are narrow and filled with all kinds of strange obstacles.|-|

| align=center | Jeff| Another of Ness's close friends in EarthBound, Jeff is the only son of the famous scientist, Dr. Andonuts. Jeff is a mechanical genius, able to turn common, broken tools into complex weapons like the Hungry HP-sucker and the Slime Generator. He's a bit on the shy side but incredibly intelligent and brave in the heat of battle.|-|

| align=center | Lakitu| These airborne menaces used to ride their clouds exclusively as Bowser's henchmen. They typically hover just out of Mario's reach and hurl Spinies with irritating precision. More recently, however, they've been known to take on less evil tasks, such as doing camera work for sports events and even helping Mario on his quests.|-|

| align=center | Metroid| A parasitic life form that can absorb all types of energy, Metroids have strong resistance to most conventional weaponry. To defeat them, Samus Aran had to freeze them with Ice Beam shots and then blast them with missiles. Mochtroids, which look like Metroids, are weaker, with fewer internal nuclei.|-|

| align=center | Mr. Resetti| Prepare to receive a really long talking-to if you reset this game: the next time you play, Mr. Resetti will be waiting to deliver his best scolding. No matter what your intentions are, pressing the RESET Button will bring you face-to-face with this fervent character. Sometimes the only way to shut him up is to apologize.|-|

| align=center | Samurai Goroh| A rival bounty hunter, Samuarai Goroh has crossed paths with Captain Falcon in many a dark corner of the universe. He also goes head-to-head with Falcon in F-Zero races, so the threads of their fates seem to be deeply intertwined. Samurai Goroh is famous for his katana, and his signature T-shirt is instantly recognizable.|-|

| align=center | Tingle| Tingle is a mysterious middle-aged man who thinks he's "the very reincarnation of a fairy." His bizarre behavior and unique speech are just little pieces of his vibrant personality. Tingle travels by way of a small hot-air balloon, making maps of the lands below him. Pop his balloon, and Tingle will fall to earth to sell his maps.|-|

| align=center | Waluigi| This tall, thin, evil-looking guy seems to be Luigi's rival. He works hard at his mischief: Waluigi reportedly spent a lot of time training for his debut in Mario Tennis by honing his ability to antagonize the Mario brothers. While it's general knowledge that he's the same age as Luigi, his relationship to Wario is unclear.|}
==Super Smash Bros. Brawl Trophy Information=={| class=sortable align=center width=100% cellspacing=0 border=1 cellpadding=3 style="border-collapse:collapse; font-family:Arial;"|-! width="12%" |! width="15%" | Name! width="73%" | Description|-| Image Needed| align=center | Assist Trophy| A capsule that contains characters who will help you out in battle. You won't know who's in the capsule until you open it. It may be someone everyone knows or someone who's a bit of a mystery. The majority of these characters are invulnerable, so attacking them is not an option. You know what that means, right? RUN!|-|

| align=center | Andross| A brilliant scientist formerly employed by the Cornerian Army. He took his research too far, and the disastrous results labeled him a Level 1 offender, resulting in this banishment to the nearby Planet Venom. After building a base and declaring himself emperor, he swore he would rule the Lylat system. Thanks to Team Star Fox's heroism, the madman has yet to achieve this.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Barbara| The manager of the music store GB Music in Waruwaru Town--her real name is Barbara the Bat. She leads the player through the game, showing her arrogant attitude as she cracks the whip at others but pampers herself. Her little brother's name is Tingtin the Bat. By the way, the "GB" in the name of her store stands for "Great Barbara," NOT "Game Boy."|-| Image Needed| align=center | Custom Robo| The custom robo used by the main character. It's the latest Shining Fighter model in the Ray line of robots, which appears throughout the Custom Robo series. The main character switches from his beloved Ray Mk II to this model after his sister and father develop it. This one has a great balance between built-in abilities and ease and depth of available customization.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Devil| A devil who wields serious power in Devil World. In the game, the devil floats above the maze and commands by pointing. When it gives orders, its cyclopean minions turn cranks that scroll the maze in different directions. When Tamagon, your character in the game, places all the stage's books into a hole, the devil turns into a bat and flies away. It's quite striking, no?|-| Image Needed| align=center | Dr. Wright| A hardworking assistant to the city mayor. He has distinctive hair and spectacles and a dapper moustache. Dr. Wright has a comprehensive knowledge of city government and is happy to give you tips to keep your city running smoothly. In the game, he tracks your city's status and gives you gifts. There was a character reminiscent of him in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Excitebike| High-performance motocross bikes that handle massive jumps with ease. Using turbo on these beauties gives a speed boost but also causes the engine's internal temperature to rise. Overuse turbo, and the bikes overheat and shut down. The engines can be cooled by running over certain marks on the track. Excitebikes cap off every race with an undeniably awesome wheelie.|-|

| align=center | Gray Fox| An enigmatic soldier with great physical and combat skills. Calling himself "Deepthroat" and equipped with an enhanced environmental camouflage suit, he dedicated his life to fighting Snake. In a twist of fate, Gray Fox ends up protecting his sworn rival from Metal Gear REX. Long ago, Gray Fox fought Snake in Zanzibarland.|-|

| align=center | Hammer Bros.| A character who throws a seemingly endless stream of hammers. Hammer Bros. have also been known to jump every so often. Since they throw their hammers in a high arc, if you manage to get in close, the hammers can't hit you. Unlike Koopas and Buzzy Beetles, Hammer Bros. don't reduce to their shells when jumped on. As the name suggests, most Hammer Bros. are found in pairs.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Helirin| A unique helicopter that flies with long, slowly rotating wings. If the wings strike walls or obstacles, the Helirin takes damage and loses hearts. The wings normally spin clockwise, but the rotation can be reversed by touching springs. There are many areas that require this technique. The Helirin can be customized by picking up and using a variety of items.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Helirin (2)| Helirins created by Prof. Rabbit. One is a helicopter that can throw punches from its wings to smash things--HELIBOKAAN! Press and hold a button to submerge, then release to surface--HELIBASHAN! Shoot fire left and right from the wings--HELIBOBOH! Use a spinning ability to create tornadoes--HELIBURUUN! There are also five varieties which shoot in rapid fire--HELIBIBYUUN!|-| Image Needed| align=center | Infantry and Tanks| Units first introduced in Famicom Wars, where they fight battles against enemy forces. Infantry are the least expensive to deploy of all units. They're not too strong, but they move well and can capture property. There are two tank types: tank A, which is expensive but has good mobility and firepower, and tank B, which is cheaper but can change battles with sheer numbers.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Isaac| A strong-willed Psynergy adept of the bloodline of an ancient race thought to have been lost with the downfall of civilization. He can manipulate earth-based forces and is also a highly skilled swordsman. He sets out to protect a lighthouse that can release the sealed powers of alchemy. In Smash Bros., he uses "Move" energy, which creates an energy field that pushes foes away.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Jill| A young girl who takes over the leadership of a band of righteous bandits known as the Red Dozers from her injured father. Jill sets out on the Drill Dozer to recover a red diamond stolen by the Skulkers. Jill has great reflexes and rode the Drill Dozer instead of a baby carriage growing up. She has an intense dislike of studying, however.|-|

| align=center | Kat & Ana| Twin female ninjas who attend Diamond City Kindergarten. Kat, the older of the two, has pink hair, while the younger Ana has orange hair. Both of the girls are still very young, but they're also very respectful and address their superiors as budding ninjas should. Kat and Ana have a soft spot for living things. Kat loves cats, and Ana is attracted to flowers.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Knuckle Joe| A martial artist known for amazing attacks like the Vulcan Jab. With his bandana, he looks and fights the part of a Muay Thai boxer. When Kirby copies Knuckle Joe, he gains the fighting techniques of a hand-to-hand-combat expert. Knuckle Joe also engages in friendly block-breaking competitions with Kirby. His other famous techniques are the Smash Punch and Rising Break.|-|

| align=center | Lakitu| A particularly stubborn breed of Koopa. Lakitus chase Mario aboard clouds and attack by throwing Spiny Eggs down from above. More recently, Lakitus have taken over the role of cameramen, filming with cameras that they dangle from long rods. Spinies are Koopa creatures with tough, spiked shells. Jumping onto them has no effect, but fireballs can dispatch them.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Little Mac| A lightweight scrapper from the Bronx. After meeting with a former boxing great named Doc Louis who fell from glory, Mac takes Doc on as his coach, and together the pair try for the championship belt in the WVBA. Little Mac works his way up the ranks of the WVBA, taking out foes several times his size. By landing multiple blows, Little Mac gains a "?" uppercut.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Lyn| A 15-year-old nomadic girl. Lyn is a strong-willed youth whose skill with the blade draws many admirers. Lyn sets out on her quest to become a master swordsman after coming to the aid of a fallen traveler. She soon learns she's a living member of the nobility of Lycia, a neighboring country. Soon she's involved in a violent dispute over the ascension of the Caelin throne.|-|

| align=center | Metroid| A bioengineered life-form found on planet SR388. Metroids attach to organisms and drain life energy. The Galactic Federation commissions Samus to eliminate them, but Space Pirates try to harness their power. One of the few ways Samus can kill Metroids is by shooting them with the Ice Beam and then shattering them with missiles. The Metroid's cry is chilling and indescribable.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Mr. Resetti| A character who normally appears from underground to lecture the player. However, he is not always underground--in Animal Crossing: Wild World, he can be found sipping coffee at the Roost if you go at a certain time on a certain day. In the Japanese-only "e+" version, he works at a so-called "Resetti Observation Center" where you can pop in for a visit.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Mr. Resetti (2)| A mole wearing a hard hat who'll show up when you restart your game without having saved. He pops up and lets you know in no uncertain terms the importance of saving your game. The problem is, his speeches are entertaining enough to warrant breaking the rules at least once. In Animal Crossing, his brother Don appears too. He's the polar opposite of his sibling.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Nintendogs| A puppy for you to train on your Nintendo DS. They come in a wide variety of breeds, colors, coat styles, and personalities. You can train them, use dog toys to play with them, and feed them treats to establish a real link with your virtual pet. Other features include the ability to enter your dog in disc-catching contests and agility trials on obstacle courses.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Saki Amamiya| A member of a rescue group that hunts aliens known as Ruffians that prey on mankind. He's killed by Ruffians, but the advance scout Achi resuscitates him, and he gains remarkable physical prowess and becomes the hunt leader. During a battle, he transforms into a Ruffian, and his companion Airan helps him recover. He's optimistic and copes well with danger.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Samurai Goroh| A man who presents himself as a bounty hunter much like Captain Falcon but is also the boss of a notorious bandit group. He tries to collect criminal bounties but always fails to beat Captain Falcon to the collar. He considers himself Falcon's archrival and always tries to beat him in F-Zero races. His machine, the Fire Stingray (#05), has a high top speed.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Shadow the Hedgehog| Shadow the Hedgehog is a black hedgehog who resembles Sonic. He was created by Dr. Eggman's grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, to be the ultimate life-form. Not only does he look like Sonic, but he has equal abilities. He has great skill with the space-time warping technique called Chaos Control. To reach his goals, he'll use any means necessary.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Stafy| The prince of the kingdom of Tenkai. He's a bit spacey and clumsy, but when he sets his mind to something, he gives it his all. Stafy gets help from his friends Kyorosuke the clam and the wizened Lobjii-san. Stafy sometimes dons a pig suit and throws pork cutlets. In Densetsu No Stafy 3, Stafy meets Wario and goes with him to steal the treasures of the deep.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Tingle| A strange little man easily spotted by his trademark green bodysuit, bright nose, and pointy beard. Tingle has frequently appeared around Hyrule and always lets those he meets know that he's a fairy and selling homemade maps. In a recent adventure, Tingle escapes a sad and dreary life to embark on a magical adventure in the delightful, dreamlike paradise of Rupeeland.|-| Image Needed| align=center | Waluigi| A twig-thin man who sees himself as Luigi's ultimate rival. He spent a long time working silently in the shadow of the Mario Bros. before finally becoming strong enough to compete with them in Mario Tennis. Since then, he's had many brilliant game appearances. While the nature of his relationship to Wario is a mystery, the pair have hatched some devious schemes together.|}==Assist Trophy Artwork==
