Cherry-Go-Round is a 4-Player and Duel minigame that appears in Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on "merry-go-round," which is another name for a carousel, and the word "cherry." This minigame is the third minigame in Score Scuffle.
Gameplay
All the players will have a bunched pair of cherries and must spin them with the stylus for five seconds. When time is up, players will throw the cherries high into the air. Whichever player throws their cherry the farthest wins the minigame. If no players throw their cherries or if both players get the same score in the Duel variant, the game results in a tie.
If both players get the same score in the Duel variant that breaks the current record, it counts as a new record even though neither player won, as the screen will say "Tie" after the "New Record" fanfare. This also applies to the other Duel minigames with a record system.
Controls
- – Spin cherries
