Why is this the default Blue Switch article, when there are multiple from the main games? In fact, this article itself describes two very different things. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:20, 25 January 2018 (EST)

I don't know man, I just edited the wording. Should we redirect it for just Paper Mario, or delete it altogether? Avalon (talk) 14:15 PM, 6 February 2018 (EST)

Better name?

The instruction booklets seem to have a better name for this object, in a section describing field features. On page 21 of the American English manual, the header is "4-Person Panels and Trampolines" (referring to the overworld object, not the Bros. Item), whereas on page 18 of the British English manual, the header is "4-Minion Switches and Trampolines" (however, the text below still refers to them as "panels"). This sounds like it's referring to the blue switch. However, there's no accompanying picture, and it could be referring to general instances (e.g. pipes and elevators). The conjectural yellow switch should also be renamed to "2-Person Panel" to match. This is definitely referring to this object, right? LinkTheLefty (talk) 21:01, May 5, 2022 (EDT)

In-game sign in Bowser's Castle says "4-minion switch". Dark BonesSig.png 00:17, May 6, 2022 (EDT)
It's probably only called that because of where the sign is. A lot of the signs in Bowser's Castle speak like it's directed towards Bowser and his minions. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 07:32, May 6, 2022 (EDT)
That does align with the European manual, though... I checked a North American text dump just to make sure and it's the same there. Maybe the EU manual saw it as a correction? This would confirm that it refers to the right object, at any rate. LinkTheLefty (talk) 12:07, May 6, 2022 (EDT)
