Trophy Stands are items in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, in the adventure mode of the game, The Subspace Emissary. It's what the trophy stands on.
The player has to find an enemy, and pay attention to its health meter. Then when the health meter is low, throw the trophy stand at the enemy, and the enemy becomes a Trophy that can be taken and seen in the Trophy Gallery. This can also be done with game bosses. Though make sure to pay attention to the health meter, or it might not work.
Though don't expect to find one like if it was just an item. It actually is pretty hard to find, so the player would be lucky if they found one while fighting an enemy.
