Template:Minigame-infobox Banana Punch is one of three Minigames hosted by Donkey Kong in Mario Party 5. Its name is a pun on "Banana Bunch".
Banana Punch has the same setting as the other two mini-games hosted by Donkey Kong, in a jungle with a tree house and a circus tent resembling Swanky's Sideshow in the background. During gameplay, Donkey Kong hangs from a vine and swings above the characters while eating Bananas.
Gameplay
The objective is for players to collect as many Bananas within ten seconds by punching the most barrels. The mini-game also ends early if players break every barrel. Barrels either contain a single banana, which are worth a point, a large banana, worth five points, or nothing.
