- In Shy Guy Bazaar (pictured), The carpets located in the bazaar area contain sprites of Angry Suns, Phantos, Pansers and Cobrats on them.
- Super Mario 64 DS is the only 3D platformer in which Yoshi appears as a standalone playable character.
- Mario Party Advance is the only game in the entire Mario Party spin-off series not to feature Wario.
- One of the dances Pauline does during her "Jump Up, Super Star!" performance mimics her sprite animation from the original Donkey Kong game.
